Caelin (affectionately known as Kiki) is Emily's younger, yet much wiser, sister. With her calm demeanor and thoughtful insights, she has always been the voice of reason, offering advice and support through every stage of Emily's life. Whether it was navigating life's big decisions or simply being there as a shoulder to lean on during times of turbulence, Kiki's wisdom and caring heart have made her not just a sister, but a trusted confidante and lifelong friend.

Madelyn (affectionately known as Mady) has been Emily's best friend ever since they first started working at Firstwatch together years ago. Their bond grew from shared shifts and inside jokes into a deep, unshakable friendship. Mady's loyalty, infectious laughter, and shared adventures have made her not only a best friend, but also a constant source of joy and support in Emily's life. From early mornings at work to late-nights out on the town, Mady has been there through it all, making every moment together unforgettable.

Isabelle (affectionately known as Belle) is Emily's cousin and forever bestie. Ever since Emily's family moved back to Omaha, the two have been inseparable, growing up side by side as partners in crime. Their childhood bond blossomed into a lifelong friendship, filled with countless shared memories, laughter, and adventures. Belle’s warmth, shared family roots, and loyalty have made her more than just a cousin – she’s Emily’s constant companion and trusted confidante, a friendship that only grows stronger with time.

Aspen and Emily met years ago while surviving early mornings together at First Watch, and somewhere between coffee refills and side work, a lifelong friendship was born. Since then, Aspen has been her go-to for spontaneous drinks, deep apartment chats, and quality time spent being judged by our cats. She’s equal parts fun and loyal, and Emily feels so lucky to have her by her side, not just as a bridesmaid, but as one of her favorite humans.

Mitchell is Emily's cousin, and they grew up together, which means Mitchell has been around long enough to know all the phases, and still stuck around. These days, their bond lives on through family laughs and a fiercely competitive fantasy football league, where bragging rights are taken very seriously. Mitchell is a blast and always part of the team. Carter and Emily are so happy to have him standing with them.
